MAY IS LYME DISEASE AWARENESS MONTH
Welcome! You are here to learn more about Lyme disease or to the help spread the word about Lyme disease. Both are extremely important!
To learn more about Lyme disease—from prevention to symptoms—please scroll to the bottom of the page for important information. To help GLA spread the word about Lyme disease—prevention, symptoms, and the risk—see immediately below for details on our special Lyme Awareness campaign.
LYME AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
More people need to know about the risk and symptoms of Lyme disease, and how to prevent a tick bite. Our goal is to spread the Lyme disease awareness message far and wide, and we need your help to do it! Help us get our GLA Lyme Awareness flyers into high traffic locations in local communities. Are there locations in your city or town that get a lot of traffic? If so, we’d love to get our flyers posted in those locations, to educate as many people as possible. Be sure to check with the store employee or manager to make sure you can post the flyer, or leave some at the front desk to hand out. Click here to print the flyers or email us at [email protected] and we’ll send them to you.
SHOW US WHERE YOU POSTED
In order for us to track the reach of this initiative, we are asking that you take a picture/video of yourself distributing these flyers and post it on social media (or email it to us). Be sure to tag your location and Global Lyme Alliance! This will be a fun way for us to spread the word, get more to participate and also keep track of cities and locations around the world where the flyers are being posted! Have questions? Email: [email protected]
THE POWER OF SOCIAL AMPLIFICATION
When you share the flyers and post on social media, you’ll inspire others to want to get involved too! This will further the success of the campaign. Social engagement and sharing can likely double the reach of our message.
